Tresemme Keratin Smooth range

My beauty budget has well and truly gone til next pay. Why? Not because I've been taking out my purse for high end products, but rather have been carelessly handing over my EFT card in places like Chemist Warehouse, Priceline and even Woolies! This week I stumbled into Woolies and picked up a few Tresemme favourites, as well as the new Keratin Smooth shampoo and conditioner.

They were half price, down to $4.95 I believe and for such a large bottle, I was not going to leave these on the shelf! I picked them up and tried them the next night on my 3 day unwashed hair (I could never go one night without washing...but I'm spacing the washes out and it's dramatically decreased excess frizziness and dryness).  I still want added strength and hydration for my locks however, this being the reasons why I tried the above.

The shampoo, although claiming to be low in sulphates,  gave me plenty of slip and lathered up around the roots just like any of my other shampoos. It was easy to rinse out and my hair did not feel wirey as I did so. The conditioner was...my bad, IS amazing, and this is where I feel in love with this line. Yes, I feel in love from the very first moment we touched! It's such a gorgeously creamy texture, and after rubbing through palms, I distributed it though my hair, leaving it on for just under 5 mins while I did all the other girly shower stuff. Upon rinsing it felt very smooth, upon drying, it felt like somebody else's hair because mine certainly never felt so smooth or looked so tamed.

I definitely continue to use this, hopefully will pick it up on sale sometime again when running low. I love the fact it's low sulphate so my hair can avoid any unnecessary dryness, and it certainly agrees with my imperfectly wavy hair. Recommend it, but perhaps not for everyday washing as keratin is a protein and we all know too much protein can cause negative effects on the hair, so maybe every other day, or if you're like me, whenever dry shampoo ceases to fix your scalpy problems!
